No, I don't want it.
Been awake so long I can see the sun.
Know I'm not the only one who
Watches over everything.
Up all night on my vigil,
Songbirds pecking on my skull.
Peck a hole into my head,
Now I'm bleeding out all red.
All my songs are on the floor.
25, or maybe more, that I forgot to record.
No, I don't want it,
The responsibility of dreams.
Pounding on my head it seems that
Someone's tap-dancing on my skull;
It's Parisi tapping out a groove.
Don't kill yourself, you're an awesome dude!
Everybody's so fucked up
From the pain that they've sucked up.
Sometimes I worry about my friends.
I'll stay up all night again, watching over everything.
This album fucks as hard as dripping and magic but imo feels the most personal and emotional release of the three. It’s weird and frantic but hits
this really interesting balance.
